In 1993, I saw Jurassic Park in the theater and it made a huge impression on me because of the character, Dr. Ellie Sattler, portrayed by Laura Dern. I wanted to be a woman in STEM too. Ultimately I pursued art instead, but I have built my creative practice around using art to enhance science communication.

I am currently a freelance graphic designer working in Salt Lake City, UT. I work with clients from all over the United States and specialize in science communication, non-profit marketing, creating branding for small businesses, and editorial design.

Clever Girl Visual A.I.D. is named for a scene where the humans are coming to terms with the intelligence of the dinosaurs they resurrected.
